A tough little working terrier with an otter face and easy charm
The Border Terrier was bred on the English-Scottish border to follow hunters on horseback and bolt foxes from their dens. It is cheerful, hardy and less feisty than many terriers, but it digs, chases small animals and needs a secure garden and regular exercise.
