Chamodi Nayanathara, founder of Pet Lounge in Gothenburg, is responsible for the editorial content. Guides, breed profiles and care advice are written and reviewed by Chamodi and the team behind the service, and updated when our hands-on experience or the applicable rules change. Chamodi also takes bookings as a sitter, meeting the pets and their families and using the same platform as every other sitter, so the advice here comes from work done every week rather than from theory.

We use AI tools to draft and structure text. Nothing is published in the state it came out. A person reads it through, corrects it and takes responsibility for every published piece, and Chamodi is the one who stands behind what is up. If a sentence does not match how the work actually goes, it comes out. AI can help with the language. It never decides what is true.
Questions about permits and tax are not ours to settle. Länsstyrelsen decides what applies on permits and Skatteverket decides how income is treated. We do not write their rules for them. On our pages we say that the question matters and who decides it, and no more than that. Anything touching on regulation is written by a person from start to finish, never AI-drafted, and goes up only once it has been reviewed.
What we publish is general information, not legal or tax advice. Länsstyrelsen and Skatteverket are the ones who decide what applies in your case.
If you find something that is not right, we want to know. Write to info@petlounge.se and tell us which page it is and what is wrong. We go through it, correct what is inaccurate and remove what we cannot substantiate. We get back to you once we have looked at it.
