Where Every Paw Feels at Home.
We have built safety into every layer of Pet Lounge - from how we vet sitters, to how payments work, to what happens when things do not go as planned.
Every sitter goes through identity verification and a background check before they can accept bookings. We also manually review each application to ensure quality and suitability.
All bookings made and paid through Pet Lounge are covered by our Protection Fund, which can contribute to vet costs if a pet is accidentally injured during a booking. It is not insurance and does not replace your own pet insurance.
Our trust and safety team is available around the clock. If anything comes up during a booking, we are one message or call away to help resolve it quickly.
All payments are processed through our secure platform - never exchanged directly. Funds are held until the booking is complete, protecting both parties.
Every sitter application is reviewed by our team. We verify identity documents, run a background check through a third-party provider, and assess the sitter's experience and references before approving them to the platform.
Contact our 24/7 support team immediately. We will work with you and the sitter to resolve the situation. For incidents covered by our Protection Fund, we will guide you through the claims process.
Bookings made and paid through Pet Lounge are covered by our Protection Fund. The fund is not insurance: it is a discretionary fund that may contribute to vet costs if your pet is accidentally injured during a booking, and it does not replace your own pet insurance. Cash or off-platform arrangements are not covered.
Absolutely. We encourage pet owners to arrange a meet-and-greet with a sitter before the first booking. Many sitters offer this as a free introduction. You can message any sitter directly through Pet Lounge.
Use the 'Report' button on any sitter's profile or booking page, or contact our support team directly. We take all reports seriously and investigate every concern promptly.
Every sitter on Pet Lounge has been verified and reviewed by real pet owners.
