They have no coat to shed, but they do leave skin oil on bedding and furniture. Allergy sufferers should not assume the breed suits them, as allergens also come from saliva and skin.
They bond closely and often dislike long absences. A second pet or midday drop-in visits help a lot.
Indoor life is best, since they get cold and sunburnt easily. A secure, enclosed balcony in mild weather is a safe compromise.
