Also known as Perro de Agua Espanol
A curly, clever all-rounder that herds, retrieves and swims
The Spanish Water Dog worked as a shepherd and a retriever on farms and boats in Spain. It is smart, loyal and very trainable, with a woolly curly coat that barely sheds, and it needs regular exercise and mental work.
